About The Position

Cigars International is seeking a dynamic and driven Bar Manager with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and training employees, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your duties will include managing inventory, coordinating promotional events, upholding quality, and safety standards, maintaining licenses, budgeting, and strategizing to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Requirements

5+ years of prior experience in bar management or hospitality.
High School diploma or GED.
Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
Availability to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Understanding of business management and accounting principles.
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
Ability to move around the store and maneuver merchandise when necessary
Walking and standing
Requires moving around the store to assist customers
Identifying and reading reports

Responsibilities

Recruit and train staff to deliver outstanding service to patrons.
Create and manage employee schedules, resolve conflicts, and ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak hours.
Enforce quality and safety controls.
Collaborate with the CI events team to plan and execute promotional events.
Mediate and defuse tense situations to prevent safety or legal issues.
Foster a culture of accountability to company standard operating procedures.
Implement and maintain quality and safety controls.
Analyze data to develop strategic action plans.
Develop innovative and unique menu features.
