Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Bar Manager or similar role
- Excellent understanding of various drinks, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Proficiency in multiple task management
- Experience in managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling costs
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Up to date with beverages trends and best practices
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Works nights and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bar operations
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for inventory control
- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff
- Manage budgets and financial plans and control costs
- Handle customer complaints and queries
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Analyze reviews and feedback from customers
- Ensure staff is checking IDs to prevent underage drinking
- Drive promotional and marketing activities
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and all governing agencies
