About The Position

This role is for a Bar Host at the Orlando Eye, responsible for delivering unforgettable, above-and-beyond guest service aligned with Gateway & Merlin standards. The position drives revenue through upselling, promotions, and supporting F&B initiatives. Key duties include maintaining top-tier hygiene, safety, licensing, and alcohol compliance, flexing across outlets, special events, and fast-paced indoor/outdoor environments. The role also involves providing high-quality, kid-focused service with a friendly, positive team attitude, and handling full service flow including POS use, orders, setup/clear down, and cost control. Clear communication, meeting guest expectations, and representing the Merlin brand proudly are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years bartending experience preferred (full-service restaurant a big plus!)
• Brings a positive, hospitable attitude and loves delivering top-tier service
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well as part of a team
• Able to obtain required licenses/certifications, including food safety within 30 days
