About The Position

Tune-Up The Manly Salon is growing and looking for upbeat people to join their team. They are hiring for both Bar Host and Stylist/Barber positions. Both positions offer great hourly pay, with the Bar Host position also receiving tips and the Stylist/Barber position receiving bonuses.

Requirements

Experienced stylists and barbers
Knowledge of beard shapes and the correct way to shape a beard
Knowledge of the different types of Fades and scissor cut techniques

Nice To Haves

Will train on Pedicure and Manicure procedures

Responsibilities

Welcoming customers
Maintaining the upkeep of the salon floor
Pouring drinks
Checking in and out of all clients
Opening and closing of shop
All cash and credit allocations
Laundry
Inventory of products and supplies
Identifying customer preferences by asking pointed questions
Recommending hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes
Knowledge of beard shapes and the correct way to shape a beard
Washing, rinsing and drying clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners
Styling clients hair with product and educate the client on the product
Knowledge of the different types of Fades and scissor cut techniques
Pedicure and Manicure procedures
