About The Position

The Bar Helper in Casino Bars will support the Bartender. This role is crucial for facilitating the smooth flow of service to customers by bartenders and beverage servers by performing stock replenishment and all necessary cleaning behind the bar. The Bar Helper will also check and maintain the required par stock on their assigned station, obtain replacement stock from the dispensing room and/or warehouse, maintain cleanliness and order, assist the bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests’ special requests, and during busy times, icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks. The position requires meeting attendance guidelines and adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company policies, as well as demonstrating Caesars Spotlight 5 behaviors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess speed, friendliness and accuracy of service.
• Must have the ability to give C.A.S.H. to guests and employees.
• Must keep areas of responsibility neat and clean at all times.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Works behind the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by bartenders and beverage servers.
• Performs the service of replenishing stock and all cleaning required behind the bar.
• Checks and maintains the required par stock on assigned station.
• Obtains replacement stock from the dispensing room and/or warehouse in accordance with established procedures, maintains cleanliness and order on assigned station, assists the bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests’ special requests, and during busy times, icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
