About The Position

At Old Scratch Pizza, our bar cashiers play a key role in delivering the energetic, welcoming experience our guests expect. Behind the bar and in the front of house, you will prepare high-quality beverages, engage with guests, and support the overall flow of service while maintaining strong standards for accuracy, cleanliness, and hospitality. Whether you have front of house and bartending experience or are eager to learn, this role offers the opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. • Ability to communicate clearly and maintain awareness for safety

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and genuine manner
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency when entering orders into the POS system
• Assess guest needs, make recommendations, and answer questions about beverages
• Handle payments, including cash and credit transactions
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal alcohol service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed
• Assist with front of house responsibilities
• Build rapport with guests, including recognizing regulars
• Work closely with the kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service
