About The Position

Join our team! Louie’s strives to give each and every guest an unforgettable experience, and we need YOU to help achieve that! We are currently hiring a Part-Time Barback! This position calls for extremely outgoing, professional, and charismatic individuals. We are looking for barbacks who can easily take care of a large variety of guests. Similar experience is a huge plus!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within the hospitality or service industry is a plus.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (required)
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
  • Communicates clearly and delivers friendly, attentive service to guests and team members
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and anticipates guest and team needs
  • Interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Works effectively as part of a team to support a positive, high-energy atmosphere
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Maintains professionalism and punctuality
  • Upholds neat, clean, and professional grooming standards
  • Ability to constantly stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to constantly handle (grasping, holding), and finely manipulate, repetitive motion of hands and feet
  • Ability to frequently reach over shoulder, overhead, and outward
  • Ability to occasionally kneel, squat, twist and bend
  • Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role or within the hospitality or service industry is a plus.
  • Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available
  • Slice and prepare garnishes
  • Control and limit wastage
  • Maintain bar and lounge cleanliness
  • Follow all rotation procedures to ensure freshness and quality
  • Assist with all reasonable bartender duties as required
  • Adhere to basic hygiene procedures and grooming standard
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front and back of house areas including tables, floors, walkways, windows, and furniture
  • Remove dirty dishes for tables between courses and clear tables after the guest leaves
  • Return dirty dishes to the dishwash area
  • Set, adjust, and re-set tables
  • Stock station and complete all delegated side work
  • Manage the correct stacking of dirty items
  • May assist staff in serving tables
