About The Position
Frannie & the Fox is seeking a Bar Back who understands that behind every glass of cabernet or craft cocktail is the attention to detail that makes an experience truly memorable. Spotless glasses, fresh ingredients, and bottles at the ready don't happen by accident. A bar back efficiently stocks, cleans, and organizes the bar while communicating and working seamlessly with the bartenders.
Requirements
- Prior experience highly preferred.
- A proactive and detailed demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of critical items: ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, glassware, and bar top cleanliness.
- Anticipate and stock items during the shift before they run out.
- Understand bar equipment and troubleshoot problems during the shift (e.g., low CO2 in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, changing beer keys).
- Maintain cleanliness of all bar areas, including the bar top, bar back (spirits, glassware, supplies), waste bins, and floors.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, and support the brand vision and standards of quality.
