About The Position

This is a seasonal position where the Barback will support Bartenders and other staff. Responsibilities include assisting with bar opening and closing procedures, restocking the bar, preparing garnishes, and ensuring guests receive excellent customer service. The role requires the ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and major holidays. Compensation includes an hourly wage and tips. The position requires the individual to be legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 Years or Older
• Legally authorized to work in a bar where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed
• Ability to lift 150+ pounds (full-size keg)
• Experience working in a fast- paced environment

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the venue organize, stocked and clean
• Jerry Jolly Responsible Alcohol Service Certificate

Nice To Haves

• Previous entry level bar or restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Interact with the customers while tidying up tables, counters and other bar areas
• Assist in clearing tables and the serving areas of dust and debris in the summer and snow in the winter
• Change out beer kegs and replace liquor and beer bottles
• Restock bar with straws, coasters and napkins
• Remove trash and clean up drink spills
• Responsible for keeping venue clean and organized per company standards
• Refill ice bins
• Clean/restock rags throughout the shift
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed
• Assist Bartenders during rush hours
• Ensure the venue is always Show Ready
• Comply with all County and Company food and beverage regulations
