About The Position
The Alida hotel, a 173-room establishment on Savannah's revitalized riverfront, seeks a Bar Back. This role is crucial for ensuring a memorable guest experience by maintaining attention to detail behind the bar. The Bar Back is responsible for efficiently stocking, cleaning, and organizing the bar, and working seamlessly with bartenders to ensure spotless glasses, fresh ingredients, and readily available bottles.

Responsibilities
- Eyes are always on the critical 6: ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, glassware, bar top cleanliness
- Anticipate items to stock during shift - prior to running out
- Understand bar equipment and how to troubleshoot problems during shift (Low CO2 in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, changing beer keys, etc.)
- Maintain bar cleanliness from all angles - the bar top where guests are seated, the bar back where spirits, glassware, supplies are located, waste bins, and floors
- Thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings and supporting knowledge of brand vision and standards of quality
