This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The Bar Attendant will stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables. Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work areas, the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools according to set-up guidelines is crucial. The role also requires adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. A professional appearance and uniform are expected, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The Bar Attendant must welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Clear and professional communication is necessary, as is developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Quality expectations and standards must be met. The role requires the ability to read and visually verify information, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and navigating various surfaces and stairs. Reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors must also be performed.
