Requirements

  • Hospitality-oriented
  • Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role in a high-end hospitality environment.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Technical knowledge of beverages and experience in the area.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Nice To Haves

  • Responsible Alcohol Service certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and attending to their service needs, and thanking them with sincere appreciation.
  • Responsible for providing a high level of service in our bar area, ensuring guests enjoy their time with us.
  • Take and serve beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by attending to their needs in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
  • Follow standardized recipes and hotel guidelines for beverage preparation.
  • Ensure all beverages are presented attractively and meet hotel quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate cash register records and report any discrepancies to the manager.
  • Work closely with other bar staff and hotel team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in training new staff as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve service and efficiency.
  • Must comply with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
  • At the end of each closing shift, secure liquor, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Complete closing tasks.
  • Prepare a daily shopping list to maintain a healthy inventory level as directed by the manager.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
