About The Position

The Damm Bar & Grill is seeking an energetic restaurant and bar manager to oversee daily operations. You will lead our small team, optimize our POS systems, collaborate with the kitchen, boost our online presence, and book live entertainment to keep our floor buzzing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of restaurant and bar management experience, with strong BOH and kitchen workflow exposure
• Advanced proficiency in navigating, updating, and managing Point of Sale (POS) backend systems
• Proven experience managing social media business pages and creating digital content
• Connections to local musicians and talent, or experience booking venue entertainment
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and food pairing
• Ability to work flexible hours, including busy nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid food handler and alcohol server certifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house activities
• Partner closely with the kitchen team to develop menu items, refine food presentation, and streamline ticket systems for maximum efficiency
• Maintain and optimize the Point of Sale (POS) system, including updating menus, tracking sales data, and troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Scout, book, and schedule live music, trivia, and local entertainment acts
• Create engaging content and manage postings across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Hire, train, schedule, and motivate a tight-knit front-of-house team
• Manage food, liquor, and supply ordering to ensure optimal stock levels
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and weekly labor costs
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and liquor laws
