About The Position

Under the general guidance of the Banquets Manager, assist in ensuring all duties and responsibilities for the set-up and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions, according to the hotel standards.

Requirements

Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
High school or equivalent education required.
Two years experience as Banquet Bartender in full service restaurant or hotel is required.
Customer service experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Two to three (2-3) years of as a Banquet Server within hotel or full-service restaurant industry experience or equivalent.
Costumer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and up to hotel standards.
Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality.
Exercise good judgments in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
Maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly.
Interact with guests and patrons.
Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times.
Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge.
Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel.
Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet.
Maintain up to date and accurate knowledge of all Food and Beverage.
Set up stations and do side jobs to ensure adequate mis-en-place.
Provide a genuine warm and caring service to guests.
Set up events within the required time.
Maintain the Room Service and Events equipment and area in an organized and clean condition at all times.
Maintain good communication with all team members and guests.
Perform all other duties as requested.
