About The Position

The Banquets Server serves guests at hotel events, helping create memorable celebrations through lively, attentive service. The role includes greeting guests warmly, communicating with guests and teammates, setting up banquet spaces with attention to detail, delivering timely service from setup through closing, and responding calmly and creatively to issues, involving management when needed. The position is at Marriott Austin North, located north of downtown Austin. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Prior banquet service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling certifications, as required by state regulations.
