Hourly Wage: $17.63 plus gratuities

Requirements

Demonstrated perpetual cheerfulness and extroversion, modifying personal delivery as appropriate to different types of guests’ needs, interests, and desires (Adults, children, couples, cultural, etc.)
Outstanding attention to detail – both personal grooming/appearance and in properly identifying guest’s needs, demeanor, and level of required service attention.
Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume; high-energy level/speed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work safely and in compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work cooperatively within a team setting.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e., lift up to 50 lbs).
Smart Serve Certification required.
Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Porter experience preferred.
Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred; minimum Grade 10 or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

Responsible for setting up rooms, maintaining storage and service areas
Ensure clean banquet rooms by vacuuming and performing other cleaning duties
Assist with decorating including hanging banners
Assist with the service of concession stands and meal functions, and providing coffee service
Other duties as assigned
