Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen supervisory role, preferably in banquet or large-scale catering settings
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all activities within the banquet kitchen to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
Oversee food quality, presentation, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations
Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with event planners and service staff to meet specific client requirements and event timelines
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with sanitation standards
Assist in menu planning and development for banquet events
Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during events
