Requirements

Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with state regulations).
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative.
Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic.

Nice To Haves

College coursework in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events, ensuring every detail matches the Banquet Event Orders.
Maintain top-notch standards in team appearance, service, and safety, and ensure compliance with policies and liquor laws.
Rally the team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event huddles, and assist in training new staff.
Liaise between Sales, Catering, and guests to resolve issues, handle complaints, and prevent accidents.
Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, beverage service, checks, paperwork, and cash handling.
Assist with A/V, attend meetings, manage 'Lost and Found', and secure sensitive areas, representing the company with integrity.
