This role involves leading the banquet culinary team during event service, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency. The supervisor will also assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, production schedules, and event execution, ensuring all food meets quality standards. Coordination with banquet operations and culinary leadership is key for successful event execution. The role requires monitoring food quality, portion control, presentation, and service timelines, as well as training, coaching, and mentoring team members. Additionally, the supervisor will assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, proper product storage, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Support for banquet setup, execution, and breakdown, as well as assistance with scheduling and labor management, are also essential functions.
