About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Banquet Captain, contributes to the efficient daily operation of banquet activities by performing a variety of functions in support of events and banquets, in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. Maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year of customer service experience.
A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
Valid driver’s license is required when driving vehicles for work-related purposes.
Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation.
Must obtain and maintain Food Handler’s and TIPS alcohol training certifications.
Must be able to submit supporting documentation of education and training to support qualifications.
Must obtain and maintain a driver's license and qualify for insurance coverage on company vehicles.

Nice To Haves

Forklift and Stageline 100 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures timely and complete set up for events.
Sets up, tears down, moves, arranges, and lifts tables and banquet equipment.
Assembles dance floors, podiums, stages, and ceiling treatments.
Arranges chair and table skirting and linens.
Prepares food and beverage stations in compliance with banquet event orders; replenishes stations as necessary.
Verifies age of customers for alcoholic beverages.
Serves guests as necessary.
Assists with cleaning of event area and banquet rooms.
Assists with transportation of food, beverages, and equipment to off-site event locations.
Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
