Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef. In this role, you’ll support and assist the Banquet Chef in overseeing the banquet kitchen operation in the preparation of food items for all Banquet meals, hiring, training, scheduling, and directing the banquet culinary staff. You’ll visually inspect all food products to be served to ensure they all meet the quality standards set out by departmental and resort management. Lastly, you’ll ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and storage areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio. You’ll play a critical role in delivering a seamless guest experience by ensuring high-quality, timely execution of large-scale events that leave lasting impressions.
