About The Position
Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa is seeking Banquet Setup staff to join our team. We offer potential Banquet Setup candidates a competitive hourly wage as well as several benefits. Requirements
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a malleable, eager and willing to learn approach.
- Ability to adapt to a changing and high-service demand work environment.
- Receptive to positive, constructive communication.
- Reliability in appearing ready for service for each scheduled shift.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring ready-for-revenue standards are met for each active event room.
- Set-up and breakdown of furniture and supplies according to the needs for each event.
- Build show-ready presentations, providing guests with a weekly showcase of the property event spaces.
- Assist banquet staff with event closing and resetting of areas: cleaning, vacuuming, resetting chairs and tables.
- Operate within provided assignments and timelines in accordance with the order of events.
