About The Position

Blue Flame Management is seeking a Banquet Setup/Server to join their team. This role is responsible for setting up functions according to company guidelines, including table draping, silverware setting, napkin folding, drink preparation, centerpiece placement, and ensuring tables are set correctly and uniformly. The position also involves preparing professional, creative, functional, and clean buffets, maintaining the cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware, greeting and serving guests according to policies and procedures, assisting in all aspects of service, servicing and freshening function rooms during breaks, and breaking down tables, chairs, platforms/stages, and other equipment. The role requires returning unused equipment in a clean condition to storage and maintaining a consistent professional and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, and associates.

Responsibilities

Setting up functions according to company guidelines including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, setting centerpieces, setting up tables correctly and uniformly.
Preparing professional, creative, functional, clean buffets.
Ensuring the cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware.
Greeting and serving guests following policies and procedures.
Assisting in all aspects of service.
Servicing/freshening function rooms during breaks.
Breaking down tables, chairs, platforms/stages, and other equipment.
Returning all unused equipment in a clean condition to the proper storage area.
Maintaining a consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests, vendors, and associates.
