About The Position

This position involves setting up and breaking down banquet functions according to a work list, cleaning and returning equipment to storage, and assisting banquet management to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires driving a company vehicle, adhering to safe driving practices, and maintaining a courteous and professional attitude. Employees may be expected to work in various Food and Beverage outlets and on holidays as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of three months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid driver’s license
Successful completion of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and annual MVRs, according to company guidelines
Follow safe, defensive driving practices at all times
Obey all traffic laws, regulations, signals and markings
Use a seat belt
Follow Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse Policy
Never drive while under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications that may impair your ability to operate a vehicle safely
Report any accidents immediately and cooperate fully with insurance claims investigations

Responsibilities

Set up, breakdown and store banquet furniture and equipment
Follow BEO and work list when setting rooms
Check in with supervisor and receive duties for the shift
Assist all guests when special requests are made
Actively participate in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resort, as well as the banquet department
Never disturb any guest's materials or displays left over night
Refresh rooms when needed following standards in manual
Vacuum carpets in detail in all meeting rooms before setting up
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times when dealing with guests and fellow employees
Place water in room no more than 30 minutes before function begins
Place pads, pens, glasses, water pitcher and candy bowl in proper place
Follow Resort Standards of Operation procedures
Be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels
Work holidays wherever needed even if your primary outlet is closed
