About The Position

The Ingleside Hotel and Conference Center in Pewaukee is hiring staff to help set up rooms and serve at events. This is a full-time position for individuals with a flexible schedule, as hours vary based on events, including days and evenings. Weekends are required. Responsibilities include setting up and taking down tables and chairs for various events such as meetings, trade shows, and weddings. Additionally, staff may serve food and beverages during buffet and plated events. The position offers $18/hr plus benefits.

Requirements

Age 18 years or older.
Able to follow directions and have good math skills used for measuring and set up of banquet space.
Able to lift and move a 60" round table.
Stand for the entire shift.
Lift and carry trays with 8-10 meals and serve them to guests; clear tables.
Able to communicate with guests in English.
Able to work alone or as part of a team.
Must be able to complete a pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of audio/visual equipment and/or experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide room set up and take down for busy hotel banquet department.
Respond efficiently to guest or management requests.
Properly set dinnerware for banquet tables.
Serve plated food or buffet style for breakfast meetings, luncheons, weddings, banquets, etc.
