About The Position

The Banquet Set Up Attendant will: Set-up tables, chairs, and other necessary pieces for banquet functions Responsible for maintaining organization of banquet storage areas Have in place, in a timely manner, all essential equipment needed to present a banquet function Must have banquet room clean and ready for final set-up Service every meeting room by emptying trash, removing dirty plates, cups, linens and glasses, and replace as necessary Assist managers when necessary About The Pelican Grand Beach Resort: We are a very diverse team with a ton of personality! Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull very heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
