About The Position

As a Banquet Operations Set Up Crew member, you will be responsible for the setting up of all events and cleanliness of event spaces according to banquet event orders and conference operations standards. This is a seasonal position (May – October) with on-call shifts primarily on weekends, varying from early mornings to late evenings. The role involves setting up and tearing down for events, maintaining cleanliness, organizing spaces, and ensuring all tasks are completed within health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 0-6 months of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
  • Proven ability to maintain an organized and efficient workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a team and be self-motivated
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team, managed by a lead, each shift to complete a task list of projects necessary for success of upcoming banquets
  • Set up and tear down for all events (moving and setting chairs, tables, linens) in accordance with the banquet event order
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization across events, back of house hallways, and storage spaces to ensure that all areas are conducive to productivity and presentable (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, wiping tables, taking out trash, organizing).
  • Maintain all equipment (i.e. fixing vacuums, tables, chairs)
  • Complete all tasks within Snowbird’s health and safety guidelines.
