Requirements

  • Experience in banquet, catering, restaurant, or high-volume service environments
  • A natural ability to connect with guests and deliver outstanding hospitality
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with both guests and team members
  • Proven ability to stay composed and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
  • A guest-first mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences
  • Leadership skills and the ability to support or supervise a team when needed
  • A polished, professional appearance and demeanor suited to upscale or formal events
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests with friendliness and professionalism to create a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Serving food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality presentation and attentive service
  • Coordinating with kitchen staff to address dietary restrictions and special guest requests
  • Becoming familiar with each event’s menu details and service expectations
  • Maintaining guest satisfaction throughout events by being attentive, proactive, and responsive
  • Clearing and resetting tables while keeping service areas clean, organized, and well maintained
  • Assisting the team with side duties, including setting up service stations and restocking supplies
  • Following direction from supervisors to help ensure smooth and efficient service operations
  • Demonstrating professionalism, sound decision-making, and leadership in a fast-paced setting
  • Supporting a positive, collaborative, and respectful team environment focused on exceptional service
  • Helping create memorable experiences for guests celebrating meaningful occasions
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as needed to support banquet and event operations
