About The Position

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering attentive, professional service during events and functions, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience that reflects the hotel’s standards. This role supports all aspects of banquet service, from setup through breakdown, while maintaining a high level of hospitality and attention to detail.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods
Team-oriented with clear and effective communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and demeanor in line with service standards
Food Handler Certification required

Nice To Haves

Previous banquet or restaurant service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, linens, glassware, and service stations
Ensure all event spaces are properly prepared and presentation-ready prior to guest arrival
Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
Follow established service standards and event timelines
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
Provide attentive, friendly, and engaging service throughout each event
Maintain a polished and professional presence at all times
Support a positive and memorable experience for all guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and event spaces during service
Assist with breakdown, cleanup, and resetting of rooms after events
Ensure all equipment and service items are properly stored
Communicate effectively with banquet leadership, culinary teams, and fellow team members
Work collaboratively to ensure smooth execution of all events
Perform other duties as assigned to support banquet and hotel operations
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance as an essential function of the role
