The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up banquet rooms and serving food and/or beverages in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Key responsibilities include preparing the banquet room as instructed by a supervisor, attending pre-event meetings to understand function details and expectations, and serving food and beverages consistently throughout the event. The server will also replenish beverages, ensure guest satisfaction, promptly clear dishes after each course or meal, and address special requests and complaints. Adherence to all state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service is required, along with practicing safe work habits, wearing protective safety equipment, and following MSDS and OSHA standards. The role also involves performing other duties as requested by management.
