About The Position

As a Banquet Server, you will contribute to memorable guest experiences by providing attentive and efficient food and beverage service while ensuring all event requirements are executed to the highest standards. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Food & Beverage operations to deliver exceptional service, maintain operational excellence, and support the success of each function from setup through breakdown.

Requirements

Experience delivering food and beverage service within an upscale, luxury hotel, banquet, or restaurant environment.
Passion for providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
Clear and professional communication with guests and colleagues.
Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, and can remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to confidently operate point-of-sale systems and accurately handle basic cash and payment transactions.
Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates responsibility when serving alcoholic beverages.
Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting, and moving throughout service areas.

Responsibilities

Prepare function rooms, tables, stations, and service areas in accordance with hotel and departmental standards.
Deliver food and beverage service courteously, efficiently, and professionally throughout assigned events and functions.
Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly while complying with all applicable liquor regulations and company policies.
Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and create positive guest experiences at every interaction.
Maintain a thorough understanding of menus, beverage offerings, event requirements, and service procedures.
Set up, monitor, refresh, and break down coffee breaks, receptions, buffet stations, and other function-related services.
Handle guest concerns professionally and take appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and proper storage of all work areas, equipment, and supplies.
