About The Position

This is an on-call Banquet Server position responsible for serving food and beverages for various banquets. The role involves fostering good working relationships with guests and employees, maintaining uniforms, and potentially taking guest orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The position also requires maintaining a clean work environment, performing general cleaning duties, clearing and sanitizing tables, and completing sidework such as stocking condiments, rolling silverware, and folding napkins. Additionally, the server will answer guest questions about menu options and resort information.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, hosting, or serving experience, preferably within a banquet or fine dining environment.
Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Demonstrated experience problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
One (1) or more years of recent and related experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add and subtract.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, stooping, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks.
Lifting trays containing food and lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment.
A flexible workweek with additional hours routinely required.

Responsibilities

Wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
Take guest orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
Regularly check up on guests to ensure they are satisfied, offering refills if needed.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Perform general cleaning duties, including clearing and sanitizing tables.
Perform sidework, including stocking condiments, rolling silverware, and folding napkins.
Answer questions that guests may have regarding menu options or general information about the resort.
