About The Position

We are hiring a PART-TIME Banquet Server in Manalapan, New Jersey, at Knob Hill Golf Club. At Troon, we believe our Associates are our greatest strength and competitive advantage. The role involves engaging with guests to provide a first-class experience and dedicated service. Ideal candidates possess a genuine passion for hospitality. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for delivering incredible guest service and member experiences by assisting in the daily execution of all banquet and dining functions at the property. Previous Food & Beverage experience is required. Ideal candidates should have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays. The position offers a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Our team has implemented strong protocols to ensure the safety of both associates and patrons, allowing you to focus on customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management. Requirements

  • Must have 1-2 years of related experience in F&B
  • Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
  • Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience
  • Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have strong service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Perform the correct policies and procedures
  • Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
  • Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests
  • Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)
  • Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
