About The Position

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during banquet events and functions. This role focuses on ensuring a positive guest experience through attentive service, professionalism, and attention to detail. Banquet Servers work closely with the Banquet Captain, Banquet Manager, and other event staff to ensure smooth setup, service, and breakdown of events.

Requirements

  • High School degree/GED or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • Strong ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Must adhere to local Food Codes.
  • Position is very hands-on with excessive interaction with staff.
  • Must have good oral, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • You must pay attention to detail.
  • Must be results and self-driven.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, China, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
  • Prepares garnishes, beverages, condiments, and bread.
  • Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
  • Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
  • Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
  • Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event.
  • Clean and return serving pieces to the proper storage area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
