About The Position
Deerwood Country Club is looking for enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team. In this role, you'll help deliver exceptional service at weddings, member events, private celebrations, and Club functions. Working alongside an experienced team, you'll ensure every event is executed with professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent customer service skills
- A banquet server MUST provide their own uniform which consists of a white tuxedo shirt, bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes (unless otherwise instructed by Dining Room Manager)
Responsibilities
- Set up for events by arranging tablecloths and place settings, positioning table placement and setting up a buffet.
- Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests.
- Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils.
- Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
