The Banquet Server is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly food and beverage setup and conference services to hotel and conference guests.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain service standards
  • Assists servers, bartenders, and setups in daily operations
  • Assists in maintaining food/beverage, linen, and dry goods inventories to par levels
  • Checks banquet area before, during, and after event for proper set and cleanliness
  • Follows established checklists for opening and closing duties
  • Greets all guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Handles multiple guests efficiently
  • Ensures all BEO's are followed and serviced in a timely manner
  • Follows all appropriate regulations for food service, safety & sanitation, MSDS, TIPS (alcohol service)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts and cordial carts
  • Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections
  • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
