About The Position

Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Banquet Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Banquet Server supports the successful execution of private events at our country club by handling all aspects of set‑up, service, and breakdown. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, enjoys fast‑paced event environments, and takes pride in creating polished, memorable experiences for members and guests. Hours vary based on scheduled events.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable working long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing event needs
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Nice To Haves

• Prior banquet or restaurant experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet spaces according to event orders, including tables, linens, chairs, buffets, décor, service stations, and equipment
• Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service during events, following club standards
• Clear rooms, store equipment properly, reset spaces, and ensure areas are left clean and organized
• Assist with polishing glassware/silver, stocking supplies, moving equipment, and other duties as assigned
• Work closely with banquet captains, culinary staff, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event flow
