About The Position
This full-time Banquet Server position at Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa involves maintaining high service standards, handling cashiering and check control, and serving food and beverages according to established procedures. The role also includes assisting with busing tables, ensuring water glasses are filled, and keeping tables clean. The server is expected to exercise positive hospitality and maintain knowledge of food items. The Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa, known as "The Castle," is a premier resort in central Alabama, recently renovated with a pool expansion. It features the fifth-longest golf course globally and boasts 18 event rooms with over 25,000 square feet of space, hosting weddings, corporate meetings, and social events. The resort is part of the PCH Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

- Must have excellent communication and guest relations skills
Responsibilities
- Maintains high service standards
- Handles cashiering responsibilities and check control procedures
- Serves all food and beverage items according to use records and established procedures
- Assists with busing tables when necessary
- Strive for finer points of service such as making sure that the water glasses are filled, that the table is free from dirty dishes, etc.
- Exercises positive warm hospitality
- Maintains knowledge of food items
