About The Position

The Banquet Server plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences during events and functions within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests receive attentive and courteous service throughout the event. Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all necessary service items are in place according to event specifications.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests during events, following proper serving protocols and safety standards.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet events, including cleaning and resetting rooms after service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to coordinate timing and delivery of menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests professionally, addressing any concerns to ensure a positive experience.
