We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our food and beverage team. This individual will be cross-trained to work as bartender, banquet server, and beverage cart attendant to fill in where necessary. This job is responsible for providing food and beverages to players on the course, in addition to various requests from the Clubhouse that golfers may need during their round. All players must receive professional, prompt and friendly service throughout their golf round.

Requirements

Should have experience in operating POS (point of sales) software.
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
2 years’ experience in beverage cart position at a golf course.
Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, such as EZ Links, Microsoft -Word and Excel Programs
Valid drivers license

Responsibilities

Review tee sheet daily and to understand the flow of tee times.
Responsible for making sure all beverage carts are visually appealing and presenting the menu offerings available on-course.
Responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, beverage carts and storage areas.
Responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment and to report any defects to the F&B Manager.
Responsible for consistently providing service standards and operating procedures in the beverage cart service and bar at the Club.
Provide excellent customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met.
Execute unique and creative ideas to enhance on-course experience.
Should be able to work under pressure and also work in long or break shifts.
Provide feedback in scheduling with guidance of the tee sheet.
Ensures that correct method of payment is collected from all guests.
Assist in ensuring that sufficient operating guest supplies, beverage supplies and operating equipment for functions are to par.
Requisition inventory in/out to staff at beginning and ending of shifts.
Examine beverage carts daily for wear and tear and hold staff accountable for damage and cleanliness.
Read Banquet Event Orders to setup, serve, and tear down everts according to the details requested by the client and organize by management.
Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Attend monthly staff meeting.
Performs and completes additional responsibilities or duties as expressed by the Food and Beverage Manager or General Manager.
