About The Position

Chesapeake's is looking for a Prep Cook to work on banquets and catering at their West Knoxville location. This role involves preparing products for plated meals and buffets, maintaining accurate product temperatures, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment, and correctly performing all food procedures. The position also requires ensuring kitchen equipment is functioning properly and assembling ingredients according to menu specifications.

Requirements

  • Team Player with a sense of humor
  • Smiles easily and often
  • Math skills and understanding of basic conversions
  • Must be able to use a digital scale and thermometer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and more on occasion (with assistance)
  • Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow recipes
