Requirements

  • Proven experience in banquet management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some Holidays.
  • Knowledge of event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Certification in food safety and alcohol service preferred.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring smooth execution of events.
  • Coordinate with clients to customize event details and meet their needs.
  • Manage banquet staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain inventory and manage supplies for banquet and restaurant services.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  • Develop and implement event timelines and logistics plans.
  • Assist in budgeting, reporting, and financial management for events.
  • Assist with planning and execution of member events and dinners, planned by entertainment and other committees
  • Assist with the management of our a la carte restaurant
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
