About The Position

The Banquet Manager is responsible for leading the daily operation and execution of banquet events while ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and memorable guest experiences consistent with the standards of a luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property. This hands-on leader will oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring events are executed accurately according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), client expectations, and hotel service standards. The Banquet Manager will lead pre-shift meetings, assign responsibilities, monitor service, and remain highly visible throughout events to support the team and address guest or client needs.

Requirements

Previous banquet leadership experience within a full-service, upscale, or luxury hotel.
Strong knowledge of banquet operations, service standards, BEOs, staffing, labor management, and event execution.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organization skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event and business needs.

Nice To Haves

Previous Hilton experience, particularly within a Curio Collection or luxury/soft-brand property.

Responsibilities

Oversee banquet setup, service, and breakdown.
Ensure events are executed accurately according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), client expectations, and hotel service standards.
Lead pre-shift meetings, assign responsibilities, and monitor service.
Remain highly visible throughout events to support the team and address guest or client needs.
Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop banquet team members.
Manage labor and productivity.
Maintain banquet equipment and inventory.
Ensure proper room setups.
Support food, beverage, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Work closely with Catering Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and flawless event execution.
