About The Position

This role is responsible for the proper and adequate set-up of the bar, including stocking beverages, garnishes, and other supplies. The position involves greeting guests, taking drink orders, preparing and serving drinks according to standard recipes, and handling payments. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages and ensuring proper storage and security of inventory and cash.

Responsibilities

Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
Requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on daily function sheets.
Maintains stock, cuts, and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Greets guests courteously and friendly, promotes and documents orders for drinks.
Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Abides by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys.
Locks up and stores all beverage, food, and other equipment items, deposits cash drops, and secures bank.
Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis.
