About The Position
DoubleTree by Hilton Akron/Fairlawn is NOW HIRING for a Banquet Houseman Setup position. This role is located across the street from Summit Mall at 3180 W. Market St. Fairlawn, OH 44333. This is a large, upscale hotel with beautiful meeting rooms and banquet space, making it a great college job opportunity.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to read and understand BEO (Banquet Event Order- customer contracts)
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Shifts vary
- Conservative appearance (no visible tattoos, natural hair colors, etc.)
- Positive attitude and cordial with guests
Responsibilities
- Set up tables, chairs, linen, dance floor, audio visual per the customer contract.
- Clear, clean and vacuum banquet rooms.
- Offer customer assistance.
