About The Position

We are seeking a talented and experienced Banquet Chef to join our culinary team at a popular hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-volume food production, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes for large events and special occasions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a banquet chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and execute menus for banquets, weddings and corporate events
  • Oversee kitchen staff and coordinate food production and sanitation
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and sanitation
  • Collaborate with event coordinators to customize menus based on client needs
  • Manage inventory, ordering and cost control
