About The Position

The Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel, conveniently located by the Hollywood Burbank Airport, is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Food Server. This role involves setting up banquet rooms and serving food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, adhering to high standards of quality. The hotel offers various food and beverage outlets and hosts numerous events, boasting 46,000 square feet of event space. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year Banquet Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Thoughtfully prepare banquet tables with the perfect setup as detailed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO) to create an inviting and memorable experience
• Deliver guests' food and beverage with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction
• After each function, reset the banquet room as specified in the BEO or per given instructions to ensure it's perfectly prepared for the next event
• Ensure the banquet facilities are impeccably organized after each event by replenishing and properly storing all condiments and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all banquet facilities.
