About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times as an ambassador of Indigo Sky Casino. Work cooperatively with external guests and other members of Indigo Sky to review all agreements and details on the banquets to troubleshoot any issues or concerns. Coordinate and successfully execute a wide variety of banquets and events including but not limited to conferences, VIP events, dinner/lunch banquets, meetings, trainings, weddings, anniversary events, fundraisers and trade shows. Coordinate with Chef or his/her designee on all food and beverage menus for each banquet. Submit event form to appropriate departments for coordination of F&B, IT/Media,, Room Reservations, Purchasing, Room Set Up and Marketing Collateral/Promotional Items.. Propose and design décor alongside PD Manager for all banquets within annual budget. Set up/Tear down of banquet or event rooms. Maintain and clean all banquet area (front and back of house) to safety and cleanliness standards. Coordinate with other departments to help maintain cleanliness standards such as but not limited to dusting lighting, vacuum and shampooing of carpets and furniture repair. Prepare and close out all invoices in a timely manner. Coordinate assignments and maintain communication along with PD Manager for banquet staff. Create and maintain internal reporting on banquets year over year. Participate and attend community events, special events, etc. assigned by the Marketing Director. Maintain a positive work environment by communicating with clients, prospects, colleagues, co-workers and supervisors in a professional, friendly, cooperative and helpful manner. Requirements

  • High School, related field experience or equivalent
  • Previous advanced clerical or secretarial skills required.
  • Proficiency with computers with various programs.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment.
  • Obtain / maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel sales experience preferred.
  • Computerized hotel reservation system (LMS).
