About The Position

The Banquet Coordinator will provide administrative assistance to the Banquet and Culinary management teams. Assists with key administrative duties in various aspects of banquet functions, from maintaining filing systems, auditing checks, keeping track of BEO changes, and ensuring proper staff levels.

Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, or event planning experience
  • One year as a coordinator in hospitality or a similar industry.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of Banquet operations.
  • Requires the ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to learn and use POS computer systems used at the hotel.
  • Ability to work on AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required by operational needs
  • Excellent organizational, Communication, Time Management, and Interpersonal Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a hotel/resort environment
  • A valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
