Your Role: Culinary Excellence: Support the chef in all culinary operations, from purchasing and receiving to preparation and full event execution. Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in banquet, catering, or high-volume restaurant settings.
• Safety First: Expertise in implementing and upholding safety and sanitation best practices.
• Food Handling Knowledge: Thorough understanding of proper food handling, preparation, and presentation techniques.
• Can-Do Attitude: Willingness to take on any task necessary to ensure the success of each event.
• Efficiency Under Pressure: Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef in executing banquets according to Banquet Event Order details and Wedgewood's established standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following comprehensive cleaning procedures throughout the day and participating in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning.
• Receive deliveries from approved suppliers, carefully inspecting all items to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Stock all food items according to strict food safety protocols and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
